Prepped up for Pila (Not really)

|
What a way to welcome the month of September! As we leave 2008’s August, let’s all inculcate all the memories, whether good or bad, that we have made & caught by the glimpses of moments.
Obviously the start of this month is all about change; our next rotation for our duty happen to be in Laguna, that’s from Monday to Wednesday for three straight weeks. The problem is not being away from home (I kinda like this mini, pseudo-vacation), but being away from this web journal & to the people I’m not gonna see or talk for awhile. “Unfortunately fortunately”, the latter days that will follow this month is where I would be used to this change. Although I’m slightly looking forward to this event, let’s just say that I’m more on the person who, at the end of the day, whether he’s someplace far, just wants to go home & be comfortable enough to normally live in his own turf, plus I really have to catch up with studies now that Finals is entering, & hell yeah there’s a long test in Pharmacology that is waiting for us this Friday, so I’m just totally screwed up. You’re off to work for three days & you’re going back to school with a pharmaceutical problem… geez! No wonder I’m drinking now. *sips Coke*

Setting the pessimistic thought behind, community immersion is a very good way to exposing yourself into the world we’re not used to live in… I know it may sound so ruralism (you’ll get what I mean), but I’m saying this not directly to the place, but being far way from home & experience the working-world. Since we’re gonna be young adults very soon working in far-away places (maybe North Carolina? Yeah!), I guess this is one way to provoke ourselves into dealing with the problems of this world. Although my absence will likely be prevalent through this conniving, little bloggy of mine, I’m sure it’s going to be great to just be one with nature for a change, however Ranidaphobic. Plus I may write some couple of songs with or within the wild there with peace.

Earlier this year I promised everyone to post my earlier songs that I didn’t recover due to computer reformation but I’m working on now (Thank you Lord for the hard copies), & I even enumerated all of it in a post. So, because I don’t usually break promises (hmm), this month I’ll be posting all of it in here. If I also have time I’ll be recording another sixteen songs for sample included in the second made-up album Thrive & Strive & post it on imeem, so I’ll be looking for my prodigal mp3 again & yeah, just wait for the right moment, or voice, to come, &, with fingers cross, hoping that there would be no storm on the following day. Anyways, since I have re-typed a couple of my songs that was deleted, I’ll just post it in here. To all the readers out there, I’ll be silent for three days now so you can celebrate for awhile lol, but I’ll be back so no worries (dum dum dummm). Wish me luck for Pila, Laguna & I wish you luck to everything you have to do for this week. Let’s make ourselves proud (To crazy ol’ Pancho :P).

God bless & take care always you guys, I mean it. Focus unto happiness not on the problems alright? But don’t avoid it. Special thanks to Icey, Karren, Cathy, Mafe, Anj, Jeah, Charlyn, Mark Lawrence, Chellang, & E! :D

Signing off, Ey-Lan

A Permanent Crush
Allan Aldrinne Leyva

Can’t look at me
But I know you see me
Bringing all my smiles to life
I hate you before
But now I want more
Feel like a drifter for following you

We traveled to roads
We can’t seem to render
Seems like walking is a lot of fun
I turn off the lights
Look in your eyes
& slowly giving you myself

(Chorus)
It’s just a permanent crush
I know there ain’t no need to rush
& when they open all the doors
I see we’re getting strong

Dig yourself deep
I love when you keep
All our memories tonight
You wake me up scared
Saying you can’t win
The battle against those racing cars

I find it so sweet
So sweet & appealing
Made me want to love you more
The guidance & prayers
Keep me awake
Leaving staring at your wall
(Repeat Chorus)

It’s just the biggest part of me
What I will give entirely
& when they tear down all the walls
I’ll hear the cutest song
To grant you all my all
(Repeat Chorus 2x)

It’s just a permanent crush

A Piece of Broken Heart
Allan Aldrinne Leyva

Looking at a mirror
See this stunning face
But tell you what, he’s broken
He just talks himself away

Finding out the background
Finding out what’s there
Judged himself in a difficult way
Never claimed that he’s ashamed

Lies are exclusive
Rage is aggressive
See this boy grew up without someone to love

(Chorus)
A piece of broken heart
Unstitched with threads of love
Faking everything
Now he’s suffocating
A scribe of emptiness, engraved with loneliness
What will you do if you are, if you are me?

Calling you’re originality
Eager for a remedy
But in my sincerity, it’s hopeless
He just can’t ignore the days

Lies are exclusive
Rage is aggressive
See this boy grew up without someone to love
(Repeat Chorus)

If I’m just anybody else, it will not hurt
Just like it happened over & over the years
Everything is just so wrong
Why will I wait this long?
I can’t continue the fight
Might as well I die
(Repeat Chorus 2x)

If you are me
Looking at a mirror
See this stunning face

Apple Tree
Allan Aldrinne Leyva

Love hurts but keeps the pain away
Belong on a never ending race

Hindrances could stop me now
But you’ll be staying anyhow
A little bit away from me
I’ll be looking for an apple tree

(Chorus)
It’ll be our cover
From diverting weathers
It’ll be our haven from those strangers
From the fakers
You can be my apple
You can be my people
It’ll be our love between
Under the apple tree

Love stains but cleans it anyway
Bright lights even crash their own

Planning on a pretty house
Shading all the thoughts we found
Standing from a million crowd
I’ll be looking for an apple tree
(Repeat Chorus)

Under the apple tree
It’ll be our savior
Hiding us from haters

It’ll be our witness
On how we see the right things together
(Repeat Chorus 2x)

It’ll be the apple tree
